4th Annual Golf “Fore!” Rare Cancers Invitational Celebrity Golf Tournament Presented by Neil and Emily Kishter Set for Monday September 9th, 2024 at The Crofton Country Club

The Laughlin Family Foundation is hosting its 4th annual Golf Fore! Rare Cancers Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament presented by Neil and Emily Kishter on Monday September 9th at The Crofton Country Club in Crofton, Md

Due to the incredible increase of support from sponsors, donors, community members, family and friends, this year’s tournament is invitational invite only. We are currently sold out, but if you wish to join the waitlist if any spots become available, please email courtney@thelaughlinfoundation.org

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

Enjoy a round of best ball four person scramble with your friends and favorite local sports celebrities on Monday September 9th, 2024 at The Crofton Country Club. Celebrity list to include: Craig Laughlin, Joe Beninati, Charlie Lindgren, Olie Kolzig, Brent Johnson, Peter Bondra, Alan May, Devante Smith- Pelly, Karl Alzner, John Walton, Dave Brown, Brett Cecil, Bruce Boudreau, Chris Miller, Ken Sabourin, and more announced soon! (list subject to change).

Regular foursomes are available for $1,500.00 (4 golfers). Celebrity foursomes are available for $2,000 (3 golfers + an assigned celebrity from the list above). Please note that celebrities are assigned at random to celebrity foursomes. Tickets are currently sold out.

All tickets include 18 holes of golf at the Crofton Country Club, golf cart, breakfast, lunch, happy hour,  dinner, drinks, awards and networking reception, and several raffles, prizes, and contests including a chance to win a car on a hole in one sponsored by Prince Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.

This fun day on the course begins at 10:30am with a shotgun start and is followed by an awards reception with the opportunity to mingle and network with our participating celebrities and sponsors and bid on unique and exclusive auction items and sports memorabilia.  Winners of the tournament will also have their names engraved on the “Sunoco Cup,” a replica Stanley Cup, which is awarded to the team with the lowest score.   

Limited quantities of awards reception tickets are available for purchase for those who are not golfers and wish to just attend the after party. “Warrior” tickets / hole sponsors are also still available for $600, which includes 2 tickets to the awards reception and an opportunity to honor and recognize a cancer warrior in your life with signage at one tee box. This is not only a great way to gain visibility for your company and have a chance to network with other local businesses and mingle with some beloved DMV sports personalities,  but it’s also a pledge to give back to the community and help the often overlooked and underfunded rare cancers.
