Craig Laughlin (Locker) and Joe Beninati (Joe B), long time broadcast partners for The Washington Capitals on Monumental Sports Network, have partnered with 3 Steves Winery in Livermore, CA to create the Broadcast Wine Collection made up of a series of limited edition wines.

Locker and Joe B. have been a full-time broadcasting team calling Capitals games together since 1996, and are the longest tenured duo in the NHL. In the 28 years that have followed their debut, the two have not only described historical on-ice moments, created everlasting memories, developed many friendships with the Capitals community, but have also become life-long friends that transcends beyond the tv booth… and now the two are releasing wines that give back to the cancer community.

The inspiration behind the wine collection began in 2022, when Locker and Joe B celebrated 25 seasons in the broadcasting booth together, and released Broadcast Blend cabernet, a limited edition commemorative wine that has since been enjoyed by Caps and hockey fans alike throughout the country. Since then, the pair have released a different wine each year, including Broadcast Blend (Cabernet), Broadcast Blanc (Chardonnay), and Broadcast Bubbly (Sparkling). Proceeds of every bottled purchased helps us “bottle up cancer!” and help those affected by rare cancers.
