Giving Tuesday Auction
The Laughlin Family Foundation is excited to launch a special Giving Tuesday auction, which will run from Monday December 2nd through Monday December 9th, 2024.
Proceeds from the auction will help support rare cancer research, education, and awareness - all areas which are severely underfunded. A portion of the proceeds from out Giving Tuesday auction will also help to sponsor cancer patients and their families this holiday season, by providing select patients and families gifts to help make their holidays a little brighter.
“The holiday season is all about family, and we understand all too well the extra stain a cancer diagnosis can put on patients and their families, especially during the holidays. . We hope that our partnership with various hospitals and organizations throughout the greater Annapolis area can help those who are going through a difficult time and make things a little easier for them…and help provide a little hope, and put a smile on faces of those who need it, “ said Linda Laughlin, CEO of The Laughlin Family Foundation. “And we certainly could not do this without the generous support of our amazing team of sponsors who have agreed to come on board and support this initiative.”
This special auction includes signed Washington Capitals sports memorabilia, as well as the ultimate Caps in-game experience including a behind the scenes broadcast visit with Joe B and Locker and a Zamboni ride! Start your bidding here.
Every gift and donation made up to $10,000, including funds raised in the auction, will be matched thanks to the generosity of a team of sponsors. Every gift will be matched dollar to dollar through Monday December 9th.
